CEO & Founder
Eva Scherer MD, the creator of the Child Connection Trust and its programmes, is a professional massage therapist and body-worker. She is a member of the Massage Australia, American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), Infant Mental Health Association NZ, Attachment Parenting International and the Royal Society of NZ.
Programmes created by Eva have been used in New Zealand, Australia and Poland.Children Massaging Children programme has been awarded with Community Award for Excellence in 2004.

Monika Mokrzyszczak, Oligofrenopedagog, is a special education teacher and a coach of educational games and horseback riding instructor. Graduating from WSPS in Warsaw, Monika has been a university lecturer since 1987. From 1991 she has been the Principal of Integrative Kindergarten No.45 in Warsaw, particularly devoted to intellectually disabled children. Monika is greatly commited to working with groups that have very different needs using somatic methods.
She implements the "Developmental Movement" method of Weronica - Sherborne , Children Massaging Children programme and Hipnotherapy. She finds that all bodywork methodes bring an overwhelming positive impact on children with disabilities. Combining her two passions for children and horses, Monika helped to establish the "Foundation for Disabled Children Assistance with Hipnotherapy" as well as "Association of Educators and Animators (Klanza)".
Board of Trustees Chairperson
Chris Wargent is the Principal at Marlborough Primary School in Auckland. She has been a primary school teacher for more than 30 years. Chris chairs the North Shore Principals Association "Children with Exceptional Abilities" committee and the Auckland Primary Principals Association Music Festival committee.
Board of Trustees Secretary
Christine Clark is a professional advisor. In this capacity she become the mentor for the Child Connection Trust over 15 years ago. She lives in Auckland and is the mother of three grown children and the Besta of the wonderful little people, the children of her two daughters. Her son teaches children in Japan as part of the Jet scheme.
Christine's passion for children and their emotional, mental and physical well-being inspired her to develop programmes to help bring children to their senses. She is the author of "If I want to become a better person, where do I begin?" and has published several children's stories.
As a Secretary to the Child Connection Trust, she endeavors to support and promote the benefits of positive attention and touch for children and indeed - the rest of us as well.
Board of Trustees Director of Funding and Sponsorship
Maysome Wang, BA in Communications Majoring in Public Relations, has been a member of the Trust since 2004.
Her role has included funding applications, book-keeping, financial reporting and covering any media requirements including Public Relations. Maysome is the face of the Child Connection programmes.
Maysome was invited to become a Trustee in 2011 - an offer which she accepted with pleasure.
Board of Trustees Director of European Branch
Izabela Bogdanowicz is a living proof that an interdisciplinary knowledge, curiosity of the world and an open heart for the people, can lead to a professional success.
Izabela is Editor in Chief for "Bankowskaja Gazieta", a prestigious business magasine published in Poland for the Russian market and Editor in Chief for "Kobieta i Mezczyzna" ("A Woman and a Man"), a weekly family magasine.
Izabela is also Head of the Warsaw's advertising agency for "Wprost", an influential weekly opinion magasine, a Warsaw's University PR tutor and a coach and trainer in holistic development.
Izabela has found that Child Connection programmes fit well with the European market.
PR Volunteer
Fenja Villeumier is supporting the Child Connection Trust in the area of Public Relations and Communications, and is helping to spread the programmes across Europe.
Her involvement with the Child Connection Trust as a volunteer gives her the opportunity to use her professional skills and experiences to support an organisation whose values are close to her heart.
From her sensitivity and compassion with children, Fenja has worked voluntarily in the children's home 'Fundacion Grada' during her stay in Santiago de Chile
Fenja is soon to finish her studies in PR and Communication Management in Hamburg, Germany.
